Privacy policy
Information we use
We process your account email, password hash, verified-email status, sessions, writing profiles, subscription and payment records, operation counts, request times, token totals and estimated costs to provide and protect DraftDazzle. Connection IP information is used for security, rate limits and server logs. The extension does not collect GPS location or general browsing history. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Email text and AI processing
Only when you request writing help, the selected draft, relevant conversation, explicit instructions and compact writing profile are sent securely through our server to OpenAI. You review the suggestion; DraftDazzle never sends it to an email recipient. Saved instructions and examples are encrypted and private to your account, and are not used to train a shared style system.
Requests use store:false to disable saved response history. This does not promise zero provider retention. OpenAI describes default abuse-monitoring retention of up to 30 days, with legal and safety exceptions, and API data is not used for model training by default. See OpenAI's data controls. Do not submit passwords, card details or material requiring confidentiality or regulated-data protections this service does not offer.
Retention and deletion
Generated replies are encrypted in the live database for up to 10 minutes for safe retries, then cleared by recurring maintenance. Ordinary application logs exclude email text. Saved profiles and examples remain until you delete the profile or account. Account deletion removes live login credentials, sessions and profile content, replaces the account email with a pseudonymous deletion identifier, and cancels billing.
Completed operation metadata and ordinary audit records are removed after one year. Terms-consent records and pseudonymous payment, subscription and refund records are retained for account administration, financial records, fraud prevention and disputes. The operator reviews financial retention after seven years and removes records when no longer needed, subject to legal or dispute holds. A keyed hash of the verified email remains while the trial program is offered to prevent repeated trials; it is not a plaintext email address. Provider financial records follow their own retention policies.
Daily server backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days. They may contain encrypted profiles or a generated reply present at the snapshot, even after its live copy is deleted. Backup copies expire through the backup schedule; individual entries are not immediately removed. Deletion requests must be reapplied before a restored database returns to customer service. Support correspondence is retained for handling your request and related disputes and reviewed for removal when no longer needed.
Providers and security
OpenAI processes requested writing content. Amazon Web Services hosts the account and AI service and database. Orange Host hosts the website and support mailbox. PayPal handles payment details and subscriptions; we do not store card numbers or security codes. Support mail may be forwarded to our operator's Google-hosted mailbox. Providers process information under their own policies. The initial database is in the United States; this does not promise all provider processing takes place solely in the United States.
We use HTTPS, password hashing, encryption for saved profiles and replies, access controls and encrypted backups. No system is completely secure. Essential website sessions use an HttpOnly cookie and last up to 30 days. The extension stores a revocable login token in restricted local storage; sign out on shared devices. No advertising or analytics trackers are included.
Your choices
Account settings let you edit or delete profiles, sign out all devices, cancel renewal and delete your account. Email support@draftdazzle.com for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests. We may verify account ownership before acting. Applicable state privacy rights are not waived. The service is not intended for children; contact support if a child has submitted personal information.
Terms of service
By creating an account and using DraftDazzle, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy disclosures. You must be at least 18, reside in the United States and be authorized to share the email content you submit. Keep your login private and provide an accurate account email. DraftDazzle is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, OpenAI or PayPal.
You control the final wording and sending action. Review facts, names, dates, commitments and recipient details; AI can make mistakes. The service is not professional advice or regulated-data processing requiring a separate compliance agreement.
You retain your rights in submitted content and permit us and our providers to process it only as needed for the requested features, account operation and protection described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for permission to share third-party content. Suggestions may not be unique; exclusive rights in generated wording are not guaranteed.
Do not use the service unlawfully, impersonate others, create abusive or deceptive content, attempt unauthorized access or bypass usage controls. We may suspend access to address abuse or protect accounts and, when practicable, explain the suspension through your account email or support. Suspension does not remove cancellation rights or any refund we owe.
The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, particular writing accuracy or suitability for a specific purpose. To the extent permitted by law, no additional warranties are provided. Rights and responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain intact. Contact support first with concerns. Florida law governs except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise; these terms do not impose arbitration or waive court access provided by law.
Material price or term changes will be disclosed before they apply. Existing subscription price and allowance snapshots are preserved unless you knowingly accept a change. If the service is discontinued, we will provide notice and address prepaid unused periods through support and applicable requirements.
Subscription terms
Basic: $1.00/month or $10.00/year, 100 monthly operations. Standard: $2.99/month or $29.90/year, 500 monthly. Pro: $5.99/month or $59.90/year, 2,000 monthly. Annual fees are paid upfront, with monthly allowance resets anchored to the subscription start date. Shorter months clamp to their final day without moving the original anchor. Unused allowance does not roll over.
The free trial starts after email verification, lasts exactly 10 days and includes up to 100 successful operations. It requires no payment card and does not automatically become paid. Each successful draft, polish or regeneration counts once; failed writing requests do not use allowance. No usage overage is automatically billed.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual price until canceled. The charge and billing interval are shown before you approve PayPal checkout. Prices are in U.S. dollars; any applicable checkout charges must be disclosed before approval. Paid access begins only after DraftDazzle verifies the completed payment.
Cancel future renewal using Cancel renewal in your DraftDazzle account or the subscription's automatic-payment settings in PayPal. Access continues through the verified paid term unless refunded or reversed. Account deletion ends app access immediately and cancels billing. Cancellation and deletion do not automatically refund unused annual time.
PayPal plans do not support in-app prorated changes in this release. Cancel renewal and choose the new plan after the current paid term ends. Failed or late payment does not extend access beyond the last verified paid term. Account settings and support remain available after AI access expires.
Refund policy
You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first paid purchase, monthly or annual. Email support@draftdazzle.com from your account email and identify the purchase. Later requests, including renewal payments, are reviewed individually. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not automatically refund unused annual time.
Approved refunds go through the original payment provider. Processing time depends on PayPal and your funding source. A full refund or reversal removes the refunded paid term; a partial refund ordinarily leaves it available unless otherwise agreed. Any eligible remaining free trial is separate. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
